THE PROS
Tanzania is the known as the land of Safaris! There is always something to see on the plains of the Serengeti. Elephants wandering, hippos wallowing, lions roaring all beneath the shadow of the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Meet the Masaai warrior’s and watch them do their traditional jump dance. Theirs is a culture captured in time.
When you are ready to lay in the African sun relax on white sandy beaches or dive in clear turquoise waters. Tanzania offers adventure and beauty all wrapped up in one welcoming package.
THE CONS
Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world. 70% of Tanzanians live on less than $2 per day. In the rural communities, more than 12 million do not have access to the basics such as fresh water, sanitation, electricity and food.
