Saving The Hungry is a not for profit that hosts short-term international volunteer vacations, encouraging travellers to give back while immersing themselves in the local culture. 
We won’t stop until every life has been changed and every single family has a home, food, and access to education or skills development.
 
Although we have been forced to put our projects/vacations on hold due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, our passion to give back abroad has not changed. We are planning our next adventures and will be ready to go as soon as it is safe to travel and visit other countries.

Find Yourself by Serving Others

Volunteering not only offers help to those in need, but it can also  reshape or redirect values, giving life new meaning.  Helping others has been know to reduce stress, fight depression, give life direction and develop leadership skills. 
 
We connect people with volunteer opportunities in Canada and abroad.  
When travelling overseas each trip has set departure dates; all "voluntourists" arrive and leave at the same time.  Our volunteers follow a set schedule designed by local staff. 

After completing your project, tour the country with other volunteers to learn about the culture and build new connections.
